alex did a great job. i could never tell the possibly best actor EVER the things she said. instead of saying "i don't care what happens to you"i would have said i love you and i would give him a looooong hug!!!

LOST is American Television's singular achievment.

I agree...I would've loved to see this one. Who knows? It could've actually won him the Emmy. I hope he wins this year!

Wishing someone is dead and trying to stop that person from being shot are completely different things. There is no hypocrisy here.

I agree. Ben while a great character, HE does not really understand what love is. Not having anyone who loves him in his early life made him possessive and made him want love so bad that he does anything in order to get it. He's selfish with love. Probably why he took Alex. Ben wanted someone who would love him. A baby can't say, "No, I don't want to be around you." The plan backfired when she grew up though.

Umm... okay, I see a thumb down on my comment calling Ben an ass.
Now, I like Ben, but can the dissenters tell me how he's NOT an ass when it comes to lecturing about love? I mean, how is he not an ass when it comes to dealing with his own love issues? Would anyone here say that he handled it well?
