yea we have done it before on just a test to see if you we could
we set up a wlan cam
and with some tools that i downloaded and some i rought my self
i was able to get in in under 2 mins
i would use a wired conection and make shere your fire wall is not open

don't do it wireless or thru ip . just use a tower for this cameras.

dont use wireless for serious video feeds...it can easily be DeAuth'd from the AP using basic stuff like aireplay. Or the AP can be knocked out and spoofed and your signals can be intercepted by anyone with basic security knowledge and a laptop...
